Self Portrait
9x12 pen and ink
1990
- Used a stipple technique with a Koh-I-Noor 00 pen, picture is entirely composed of small dots.
I've alway done well at drawing portraits. Some capture better then other the little nuances and personality of the person, but I believe they all have a strong resemblance of those who the subject is of (which is a good thing). I love doing these, and believe that the eyes generally hold the key to a successful portraiture.
